Effective Public Affairs


Cy Jamison, one of the preeminent natural resource and energy policy experts in the United States, brings three decades of legislative and political experience having served in senior positions in the Administration and Congress. 
Prior to founding Jamison and Sullivan, Inc. Mr. Jamison was National Director of the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Department of the Interior in the George H.W. Bush Administration where he was responsible for energy development, natural resources and recreation on more than one-eighth of the nation's land.  Before moving to the Administration, he served as a Senior Staff Advisor to the House of Representatives Committee on Resources and served on the Billings City Council.
Mr. Jamison has a BS in Secondary Education from Montana State University at Billings in Montana and serves on numerous civic and charitable boards.  He and his wife Linda have two children and reside in Maryland and Montana.



Jay R. Sullivan provides clients over twenty five years of experience in political, media and government affairs.  Before co-founding Jamison and Sullivan, Inc., Mr. Sullivan served in the Department of the Interior in the George H.W. Bush Administration where he managed the public affairs office, served as the administration spokesman, and directed the Bureau of Land Management Congressional Affairs Office. 

Prior to his Executive Branch service, Mr. Sullivan held senior positions in private sector firms, successfully managing major corporate, government and political clients.  He consulted on two presidential campaigns, numerous statewide races and served as staff in the United States Senate.

Jay Sullivan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Boise State University and has completed the Program for Senior Managers in Government at the Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government.  He and his wife, Georgia, have three children.  A native of Oregon, Mr. Sullivan and his family reside in Alexandria, Virginia.
